Metrica

With Metrica, space is defined by essential shapes and interrupted fragments that capture the essence of geometry in progress.

Apparently it is the periodic recurrence, the regular and harmonious flow of the geometric elements that dictate the rhythm of Metrica. In reality, the modulation is subtle, intermittent, unpredictable: the linearity of the geometry is interrupted and moves with beats and cadences, made of light and colors. The 4 decorations of Metrica, available in 4 color variations, in fact, derive their essential and explicit name – Cerchi, Incroci, Trattini, Parallele – from the geometries that are naturally created by placing multiple modules side by side. By placing the Circle modules side by side you obtain a circumference; networks and intersections are generated by the Intersections modules; finally, the Dashes and Parallels modules compose a movement of straight lines, parallels and angles.
