Appiani Hotel & Resorts

At Le Baccara bar in the Grand Hôtel de Courtoisville, Saint-Malo, mosaic contributes to the character of the interior. Appiani’s Pastelli collection creates geometric flooring in Osso, using the Custom B monocolore configuration: a quiet pattern that connects furniture, light and material.

Appiani / Pastelli

The rhythm of mosaic, the atmosphere of a lounge

Enveloping seating, warm-toned fabrics and natural light shape the atmosphere of Le Baccara. Within this setting, the floor is more than a background: the arrangement of the tesserae introduces a measured rhythm, visible both in the overall space and in close-up details.

The composition uses the Pastelli collection’s decoro multiformato. The Osso colour and Custom B monocolore configuration allow geometry to define the surface, leaving room for the colours and forms of the furnishings. Mosaic becomes part of the space’s visual language while maintaining a sense of continuity.

A reference for hospitality design

This completed project in Saint-Malo, Brittany, shows Appiani ceramic mosaic in a specific hospitality setting: the floor of a hotel lounge bar. The photographs reveal the relationship between the scale of the tesserae, the pattern and the wider interior.

For architects and interior designers, the project offers a verifiable starting point: an identified collection, a real application and photographs of the completed space. Explore the Pastelli collection page for further information and available options.
