A surface can be a story. It can become atmosphere, rhythm, vision.
Aquatic Creatures was created to turn ceramics into a language. It is the ceramic tile collection by Ceramica Bardelli designed by Riccardo Capuzzo: a surface that does not merely decorate, but suggests atmospheres, evokes depth and sparks a visual language.
On 26 February 2026, in the heart of Milan, Ceramica Bardelli presented Aquatic Creatures at Tortona Lab Milan, during the Tortona events dedicated to design and design culture, with an event conceived as an immersive experience: an encounter between material, design and storytelling.

Ceramic tiles as storytelling, between imagination and sound.
Aquatic Creatures belongs to those surfaces that do more than clad a wall: they suggest atmospheres, evoke depth and turn the wall into a visual language.
At Tortona Lab the collection was presented as an immersive experience, where material, design and storytelling came together.
A marine universe that becomes surface.
The underwater world is, by definition, a world of forms in constant transformation: organisms, details, textures, vibrations. An ecosystem made of micro-structures and signs, irregular geometries, sudden symmetries and a visual energy that fascinates without ever becoming predictable.
Aquatic Creatures was born from this: a poetic yet rigorous observation that turns inspiration into a decorative system and suggestion into an applicable project, through ceramic tiles designed for contemporary interior design.
Ceramics become an expressive medium: a skin that can be architecture, but also narrative.
