Ceramica Vogue / Vogue System / Technical guide
In ceramic design, the quality of a detail is revealed where surfaces meet: between wall and floor, along an external corner, at a finished edge or wherever a covering must continue. Vogue System special trims provide coordinated geometries and finishes for these transitions.
A tiled wall is not merely a sequence of tiles. Its construction includes changes of plane, junctions, corners, finishing profiles and transition points. For these details, Ceramica Vogue complements Vogue System tiles with a range of special ceramic components.
This guide shows the available profiles, how they can be combined and the documented finishes for each family, using product images and illustrations from the official technical drawings.
From surface to junction.
Before choosing a special trim, identify the geometry of the detail to be resolved: external corner, internal angle, finished edge, junction between planes, or a specific element for showers or pools. The catalogue's two three-dimensional compositions show how the different profiles meet.

Five checks before specifying a detail.
-
01 — Identify the junction.
Decide whether you need a linear edge, a concave junction, a convex profile or a corner element.
-
02 — Choose the geometry.
Consult the atlas and compare each code's cross-section with the intended construction detail.
-
03 — Check the finish.
Not every profile is available in both Interni and Trasparenze: the IN/TR indication identifies each product's availability.
-
04 — Coordinate sizes.
Specify the sizes to be installed together when ordering, so compatible production calibres can be checked.
-
05 — Plan installation.
Check intended use, joints, substrate, adhesive and construction details, especially in wet areas.
Sixteen geometries, one coordinated language.
The cards illustrate the geometries of the special trims. Images serve as visual references; consult Ceramica Vogue technical drawings and catalogue for sections, dimensions and installation details. Interni includes all sixteen illustrated geometries. Trasparenze includes twelve: profiles G, H, Z and I are not available in this finish. Select an image to enlarge it.

Two finishes, different availabilities.
The System Interni is shown in the catalogue in 34 matt colours. The System Trasparenze includes 26 glossy colours. The colour palettes show names and indicative RAL references, without commercial information.

On-screen reproductions and catalogue colour references are indicative. Always check physical samples and current availability before final selection.
Shower edges: edge, internal corner, external corner.
The System Bordo Doccia includes three 10×10 cm geometries designed for specific junction details: edge B, corner I and external corner E. The special trims catalogue documents two colours: Ghiaccio and Cobalto. The gallery features existing Shopify product images; the official technical documents remain authoritative for codes and dimensions.

Vogue Special Pool: six dedicated profiles.
For pool areas, Vogue offers the profile families BR / BR1, FU / FU1 and BC / BC1. Each variant has a specific geometry and a nominal length of 20 or 10 cm. The catalogue shows four Special Pool colours: Ghiaccio, Turchese, Cobalto and Nero.

The catalogue illustrates components and dimensions. The complete system must be checked for suitability for each application, with particular attention to installation and safety requirements.
Calibre, modularity and joints.
Ceramica Vogue tiles are designed to be combined across different sizes. Catalogue dimensions refer to the central production calibre; actual calibres may vary. It is therefore essential to specify at the time of ordering which components are intended to be combined.
Ceramica Vogue technical documentation specifies a joint of at least 2 mm and cites the former UNI 11493:2013 standard. For the design, installation and maintenance of ceramic tiling, the standard currently in force is UNI 11493-1:2025. Always check the manufacturer's technical instructions, applicable requirements and site-specific conditions.

Frequently asked design questions.
Are all trims available in both matt and glossy finishes?
No. Interni includes sixteen geometries; Trasparenze includes twelve. G, H, Z and I are available only in Interni.
Can trims be combined with tiles in different sizes?
Yes. The system is designed for modularity. Specify the sizes to be combined when ordering, so their production calibres can be checked.
What joint width is required?
Ceramica Vogue specifies an installation joint of at least 2 mm, subject to the relevant installation instructions and conditions of use.
Are Special Pool and Bordo Doccia available in every Vogue System colour?
No. The catalogue documents four colours for Special Pool and two for System Bordo Doccia. These ranges must not be confused with the full Interni or Trasparenze palettes.
A complete project, down to the details.
With Vogue System, colour, size and geometry work together to create a ceramic surface. Special trims are design tools for corners, junctions and edges, extending beyond the individual tile.
