Ceramica Bardelli at Superfici d’Autore 2024: Tribute to Gio Ponti

In 2024 Ceramica Bardelli took part in Superfici d'Autore at MIC Faenza with a selection of Gio Ponti projects from its historical archive.

01 · The tribute

Gio Ponti and ceramics as narrative surface.

The 2024 edition developed in dialogue with the exhibition “Gio Ponti. Ceramics 1922–1967”, connecting contemporary surfaces with historical research into ceramics.

02 · The Ceramica Bardelli archive

Drawings, figures, letters and memory.

The selection included La casa degli efebi, Le donne sui fiori, La conversazione classica, Costumi and Centolettere, showing Ponti's relationship with figuration, decoration, calligraphy and ceramic culture.

03 · MIC Faenza

An exhibition dedicated to ceramic culture.

The exhibition ran from 14 September to 6 October 2024 at the International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza.
