Lumina

Lumina uses light as an invisible material. Colour is never still: it deepens, dissolves and changes with the space. The floor becomes a broad, atmospheric perceptual field, where matter and luminosity build the architecture.

Lumina by Ceramica Bardelli is a collection of rectified porcelain stoneware tiles featuring a predominantly matte, tactile surface with coloured graniglia inclusions. A subtle, pad-formed surface texture gives the material a raw, natural character.

Digital Carving: tactile engravings and droplets of light

Digital Carving technology uses digital printing to engrave the glaze, creating recessed tactile veins. The engravings also cut into the luminous flakes within the glaze, producing localised contrasts between glossy and matte areas. The surface retains its predominantly matte character, while its appearance shifts with the light and viewing angle.

Colours, sizes and applications

Lumina is available in five colours—Bianco, Grigio, Beige, Cotto and Moka—and in four sizes: 60×60, 60×120, 20×120 and 120×120 cm, with a thickness of 0.95 cm. The finish is classified R10 (A+B). The collection is designed for floors and walls, indoors and outdoors.
