The collection

Tulipani is the Ceramica Bardelli collection designed by Ronald van der Hilst for Atelier — Ceramica da Parati. The project translates the designer’s botanical research into a contemporary ceramic surface through graphics, relief and engraving.

The collection includes Tuli-Charme, Tuli-Pique and Tuli-Poni, three interpretations of the tulip that transform the flower into rhythm, material and composition. Tuli-Charme introduces an innovative Incisione laser technology, defining the line directly on the ceramic surface with precision and depth. Tuli-Pique and Tuli-Poni instead develop the design through Stampa Digitale a Freddo con Deposito di Materia. The design language revisits themes from the Ceramica Bardelli heritage and reinterprets them through a new decorative scale.

Tulipani is made of rectified Gres porcellanato in the 60×120 cm format, 0.95 cm thick, for wall covering. The different decorative technologies give the surface depth and tactile presence: Incisione laser characterises Tuli-Charme, while Stampa Digitale a Freddo con Deposito di Materia defines Tuli-Pique and Tuli-Poni. The slab thus becomes a vertical page devoted to wall decoration.
